So I did a thing today, while swaging a large quantity of brass I managed to snap the handle on my super swage.
anyone else had this happen?

I’ve been researching the super swage because I have a bit of brass to process and it seems like this is a new and reoccurring problem for some folks. Same exact issue with how the handle snapped.

I haven't snapped a handle (yet) but I am really curious what the white plastic insert is. Is that something you purchased or made yourself?
White insert is a centering insert for 308, also have them for 223, 6.8, and 9mm. If you have access to a 3D printer they are available online via thingiverse, or inline fabrication makes and sells a version as well.
Thanks.
So Talked to Dillon Support yesterday they are sending me a new handle, they did confirm that they are made out of bar stock aluminum now and not steel like the old ones, didnt have any idea what grade. I can honestly say that I hope these kind of changes to material selection don't permeate their other products.
I guess that’s not too bad. I don’t have nearly that much to do yet but it sounds like it’s worth it. How helpful is the alignment block?

A life saver, well worth the 30 minutes it took me to print them off.
